I´m 45 years old and i´ve been illustrating professionaly for about 20 years now. Since 1992, I've created illustrations, greeting cards, designed posters, worked on comic books for school children as part of eco-awareness campaigns, designed websites and even did a lot of software design creating visual content and layouts for hospitality software among many other areas. That and also done a lot of generic graphic design.

I was part of the team that created the first Portuguese PC video game that came out back in 1995 (Gambys) and for three years prior, I've designed the game characters; created hundreds of sprite animation (pixel by pixel on the old Deluxe Paint software long before Photoshop came along) and also modeled and made a few 3D rendered short films to include in the game; at a time where 3DStudio was just begining and was still in its 2.0DOS version; if you can imagine how that was like back then with a 4.6PC at 33Mhz speed...fun times.

So if you need an illustrator or children book artist, I'm skilled in watercolors, acrylics, color pencils, etc but at the moment i do most of my work in digital, through ArtRage or Photoshop.
People get my services because of the way I can mix traditional techniques like watercolors with digital and still retain that original feel in illustrations, so my art is good to use either in books, t-shirts, greeting cards, websites, you name it, i´ve done it all.
I still do graphic design as an illustration complement, although i´ve been away from professional fulltime graphic design for a some time now as i did spend about 10 years working on that field before so i know my way around. Since 2005 i work mostly in fulltime illustration through this Luis Peres Illustration.net, known before just as LuisPeres.net.
